These vehicles are among the most elite luxury SUVs on the market today, so it should come as no surprise that they are offered with quite similar high-end equipment in the cabin. The 2016 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport both come with the same powertrain options, including a 3.0L V6, a turbo-diesel 3.0L V6, and a range-topping supercharged 5.0L V8 that makes up to a robust 500 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque. These models are also offered with outstanding off-road performance capabilities thanks to a standard full-time four-wheel drive system and features like Terrain Response, Terrain Response 2, All-Terrain Progress Control, hill descent control, and a two-speed transfer case.

The primary difference between these models is size. The full-size SUV status of the Land Rover Range Rover allows it to absorb big ruts and handle the roughest of terrains with a bit more ease than its incredibly capable counterpart.
