Land Rover Brand Brings Game Changing Diesel Option To Detroit Auto Show

January 16th, 2015 by

In true fashion, the Land Rover brand presented a real game changer at the Detroit Auto Show when they revealed a new diesel engine option for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. Check it out.

We’ll be excited to add this option to our New Inventory of Land Rover models at Land Rover Fort Myers. Here’s what we know so far: the diesel option is a turbocharged six-cylinder and is said to give drivers 32% better fuel efficiency than the now available V6. We estimate we’ll be getting 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway for a combined 25 mpg. Pretty good for an SUV, right?

Here’s another piece of quite staggering news we found. Both new Range Rover models will get 658 miles of range on one tank of diesel fuel. One tank! This is more exciting to us than the flashy reveal of these new “rebellious” and “aggressive” trucks at the show. If you want something that will last, you need to make your way to our Land Rover dealership in Fort Myers. Come by today and test drive any of our new vehicles!
