Exploring “the Road Less Travelled” With The Range Rover Sport Model

November 3rd, 2014 by

In 1989, a fleet of Range Rover models travelled 1,000 miles across the most difficult section of Colorado’s Continental Divide in the Great Divide Expedition. Twenty-five years and many automotive and technological innovations later, journalist and filmmaker Bryn Mooser marks the anniversary of the trip by documenting a similar trek with a new Range Rover Sport.

With the help of Land Rover driving instructor Jim Swett, Mooser takes on rough terrain in the Range Rover Sport with the intent of exploring new places and meeting new people. If you’re like the team here at Land Rover Fort Myers, you’ll enjoy watching Mooser testing the limits of the model. In this video clip, Mooser explores Moab, Utah:

The model has an extensive variety of off-road features, including Terrain Response technology to adjust performance to terrain type and a Four Corner Air Suspension design to give passengers a smooth ride on rough terrain. The model can also handle up to 33.5 inches of water (almost three feet!).
